myNYPD: Payback Twitter Style

Like a torpedo turned back on its own ship, the NYPD’s attempt at using the #myNYPD Twitter hashtag to have NYC citizens propagandize each other by tweeting nice pics of cops back, has hilariously backfired.  This may be the greatest use of a Twitter hashtag to date.

The fact that no one in the NYPD thought this might be a bad idea and result in exactly what it did just shows how narcissistic and egotistical they are.

If you live in NYC you should definitely tweet them a pic.  If you don’t have a Twitter account, get one, it’ll be worth it.
